BUSINESS 101

There are three types of income: linear, residual, and leveraged.
The ideal business generates all three sources of income.

LINEAR INCOME
If you are an employee working for wages you get paid for the time you spend on the job. That is a linear income. You are trading your time for money.

Unfortunately, if you get laid off, take a day off, get sick, or cannot work for any other reason you make no money.

A small business owner that doesn't have employees is earning linear income. If he stops working for any reason he has no income. Doctors and lawyers, as an example, make a great deal of money each day they work, but if they are unable to work for whatever reason, they make no money, but their expenses continue.
LEVERAGED INCOME
A business owner that hires people to make money for him, such as a salesman. They earn a leveraged income. The business owner works very hard and makes a lot of money, but is often time broke, therefore, seldom sees his or her family for more than a few minutes a day.

BUYING A FRANCISE, SUCH AS, TIM HORTON'S WILL PROVIDE A PERSON WITH BOTH LEVERAGED AND RESIDUAL INCOME

However it costs millions of dollars to buy the franchise, and more than a million dollars to stock it, hire employees, advertise, etc., just be able to open the doors to the public. If the buyer does everything right it should be a very profitable business, providing both residual and leveraged income, but he will be working very long hours opening the store, closing the store, hiring, firing, stocking shelves, and serving customers, so he or she is also likely to be time broke, and as the investment is huge it could take years to get back their investment back until they sell the business.
LINEAR, RESIDUAL, AND LEVERAGE INCOME ESTABLISHING A HOME BASED BUSINESS AS A MINI FRANCHISE OF ESSENTIAL SERVICES

It is possible to set up either a part-time or full time, mini franchise essential services business for a very small amount of money.

It should be noted that essential service customers have no choice, but to pay for such services as: natural gas, electricity, internet access, cell, and home phone service, each and every month, so the mini franchise will earn residual income on these services, as long as his or her customers continue to buy from them.

The scope of the company encompasses the following essential services:
telecommunication, energy, banking, personal theft protection, and full home automation. For the small home-based business owner, it is a dream come true, in my opinion. I operated a world-wide home based vintage running board mat reproduction business in Didsbury. We reproduced over 500 sets of mats over a seven-year period, with only one coming back for alteration. My son was responsible for that happening. He was the one who made the tedious, time-consuming, detail work to remove all flaws. Although I sold the business along with the website it still can be found by typing these keywords into Google.ca : 1940 Studebaker running board mats. I also built and designed the site over 12 years ago. I loved the business but had to sell it to look after my loving wife of 57 years until she passed away.

It was a very good business, but it does not hold a candle when comparing it to the potential opportunity this new business venture provides.

It is a world-wide on-line, recession-proof, mini-franchise business, with unlimited potential income for the home-based business owner, or as a customer that would like to save money on essential services. ESTABLISHING A HOME BASED BUSINESS AS A MINI FRANCHISE OF ESSENTIAL SERVICES

It is possible to set up a home-based mini-franchise essential service business for a very small amount of money.

It shall be noted that essential service customers have no choice but to pay for essential services each and every month, so the mini-franchise will be earning residual income as long as the customer buys the service through the mini-franchise business person.

If this small business owner has other small business owners working with him or her, who also introduce their friends and relatives to the fact that they too can save money on their essential services. When the customers they acquire buy essential services, this will generate leverage income for all the small businesses in the organization.

Once the business is well established the original small business owner not only has money, as well as the time to enjoy the fruits of his or her labor through residual and leverage income the business generates.

All the other home-based business owners have the same opportunity. They too can have the money and time to enjoy the fruits of the labor.
You say "why would an old age pensione consider going into business?"

As a mini-franchise, I am my own customer and can receive my essential services almost free. I estimate my savings to be between $4,000 and $5,000 per year. I am pleased to know that when I signed up as a mini-franchise my essential service reseller donated to a local food bank. It should be noted that each time a customer of mine pays an essential service bill, a hungry child in my local area gets fed by my essential service reseller. I love the fact that this home-based business is a mini-franchise of the the largest reseller of essential services in the world, with three sources of income, linear, residual, and leveraged income, as well as a mentoring and training program to help me be successful. My running board rubber business had a good linear income and a very small amount of leverage income, but no residual income, no mentoring or training program, was not recession-proof, and I was time broke working 12 to 14 hours a day.
Also, the fact that this business is a "willable" means that I can pass down this recession-proof business to my family, with all three sources of income.
